YOGA for LIFE ~ Public Donation Class

6767 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids

All are welcome to my Yoga for Life class at Fit Body Boot Camp on Sundays at 4 pm at the Forest Hills location.  Your $5-$10 cash donation will go to a Fit Body Boot Camp charity (members sign up for free on the FBBC app).  Please bring your own yoga mat and additional yoga props (firm blanket, bolster, etc.) as you desire according to the type of class. (Some yoga blocks and straps are available at FBBC.)

 

YOGA for LIFE ~ YMCA ~ Lowell Branch

1335 W Main St, Lowell

 

All YMCA members are welcome to my Yoga for Life class at the Lowell Branch each Wednesday at 10 a.m.  and Saturday at 10:15.  Please bring your own yoga mat and additional yoga props (bolster, etc.) as you desire according to the type of class. (Some yoga mats, blocks, blankets, and straps are available at the Y.)

Nov. 28 - Day 26 -  Gentle Practice for Overall Flexibility with an Intro to Handstands and Headstands

Nov. 29 - Day 27 -  Flow into Inversions with Yin

Nov. 30 - Day 28 -  Breathe, Invert, Restore: A Restorative Yoga Practice - Please bring cushions, pillows, firm blankets, and/or a bolster  in order to find full support and comfort in poses held for several minutes.

Dec. 1 - Day 29 -  A Gentle Yoga Journey from Crown to Root

Dec. 2 - Day 30 - Yoga Nidra - Please bring a pillow, blanket, and a bolster  if you wish, in order to find full support and comfort in a reclined position for a good portion of the class.

Dec. 3 - Day 1 -  A grounding Yin Yoga (long-held poses) practice with a focus on the feet and ankles

Dec. 4 - Day 2 -  Root to Rise, Rest, and Restore; A Restorative Yoga Practice - turn inward to find a focus on releasing hamstring tension. Please bring cushions, pillows, firm blankets, and/or a bolster  in order to find full support and comfort in poses held for several minutes.

Dec. 5 - Day 3 - Yin/Yang Fusion with Stretches for the Quads

Dec. 6 - Day 4 -  A Gentle Yoga practice for finding your stable balance and strength in various standing poses

Dec. 7 - Day 5 -  Flowy Hatha Yoga Practice with Stretches for the Lower Back

Dec. 8 - Day 6 -  Gentle, Slow, Flowy Practice with Side Body Stretches

Dec. 9 - Day 7 - Stretch the Hips to Ease Low Back Pain with a Slow Hatha Yoga Flow

Dec. 10 - Day 8 -  Slow Vinyasa Flow with Hip Flexor Stretches

Dec. 11 - Day 9 -  Traditional Ashtanga Yoga Practice

Dec. 12 - Day 10 -  Power Yoga Practice for the Core: Twist and Strengthen

Dec. 13 - Day 11 -  Gentle Vinyasa Flow for Back Strengthening

Dec. 14 - Day 12 -  Ashtanga for Core Strength

Dec. 15 - Day 13 -  A Slow, Heart-opening Vinyasa Flow into Backbends

Dec. 16 - Day 14 -  Yin/Yang Fusion to “take a breath” Midway

Dec. 17 - Day 15 -  A Hatha Yoga flow that will get you moving aerobically

Dec. 18 - Day 16 -  Vinyasa for Upper Body Strengthening

Dec. 24 - Day 22 -  Yang/Yin Fusion: A Sixth Chakra Yang Flow into Yin for the Third Eye

Dec. 25 - Day 23 -  Hatha Flexibility Practice with Eye Yoga

Dec. 26 - Day 24 -  Breathe into Yin with a Yang Interlude

Dec. 27 - Day 25 -  Hatha Yoga with Standing Balances and Drishti Practice
